Advanced Process Engineering Laboratory Advanced Process Engineering Laboratory (APEL) - Richland, Washington (Hanford Site)

A renovation of an existing 90,000-sq-ft facility. The cost of the design and construction project is budgeted to be a total of $3.5 million (view more info).

Tritium Extraction Facility Tritium Extraction Facility (TEF) - Aiken, South Carolina (Savannah River Site)

Two Savannah River Site project design teams achieved goals of minimizing waste generation, improving worker protection, promoting resource conservation, and serving as role models for the Savannah River Site on integrating sustainable design principles. Both projects completed design assessments and identified pollution prevention opportunities estimated at over $21 million cumulative cost savings (view more info).
