Biography

Terence is a chief scientist within the Scientific Data Management (SDM) Group in the Computational Science and Mathematics Division at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Terence's research interests are focused in the areas of large-scale data management, data analysis, data integration, meta-data, data dissemination and scientific workflows. In particular, current projects for both science and security customers include research in multi-dimensional data dissemination, OLAP, link analysis, and defining workflow context within the Kepler workflow engine.

Bio Sketch: Upon completion of his Ph.D. in 1997, Terence began work at LLNL, where he participated in several projects including the DataFoundry data warehousing effort, the ASC Ad hoc Query for Simulation data project, and the Biodefense Knowledge Center. Terence moved to PNNL in the spring of 2007, and continued his work leading the Scientific Process Automation thrust within the DOE SciDAC Scientific Data Management Center and the DHS Generalized Data-Driven Analysis and Integration project.
