Testbed Cases: MILAGRO WRF-Chem Configuration
Two domains are used in the default configuration that encompass most of the research aircraft flights. A higher resolution domain is situated over central Mexico where most of the aircraft transects occurred. The 3 kilometer grid spacing resolves much of the terrain variations in the region.
