Darby Stapp Appointed Fellow by Society for Applied Anthropology
Darby Stapp, senior scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, was recently appointed a Fellow by the Society for Applied Anthropology. This award recognizes the contributions Stapp has made to apply social sciences to contemporary problems. Stapp has more than 25 years of experience in anthropology and archaeology and has worked at Hanford since 1988. He currently supports the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hanford Cultural and Historic Resources Program, which helps ensure the protection of historic and archaeological sites and Native American traditional-use areas.
