Guo-Shuh John Lee honored with Parravano Award for Excellence in Catalysis R&D
Congratulations to EED's John Lee, who was honored with the 2010 Michigan Catalysis Society Parravano Award for Excellence in Catalysis Research and Development. The society recognized John for his outstanding work in all aspects of catalytic process chemistry, with particular emphasis on contributions to mordenite related chemistries. The society also applauded his ability to facilitate interactions between the R&D and business communities toward the development of novel catalytic processes. John joined PNNL in fall 2009 after a distinguished research career at The Dow Chemical Company. At PNNL, his work currently is focused on developing techniques for upgrading the quality of oil produced from biomass. (announced 2/1/2010)
