PNNL Researchers Earned Top Honors at SuperComputing Conference
Christopher Oehmen, Lee Ann McCue, Bobbie-Jo Webb-Robertson, Scott Dowson, Justin Almquist, Jason McDermott, and Chandrika Sivaramakrishnan won this year's SuperComputing (SC08) HPC Analytics Challenge. The Analytics Challenge encourages innovative and sophisticated analysis and visualization techniques in a meaningful application that supports the discovery of knowledge. This high-visibility venue provides a great opportunity to showcase PNNL's leadership in data-intensive computing, scientific visualization, and HPC scientific applications "Our entire team is thrilled that we won, "Oehmen said, who led the winning team.
