Scott Baker appointed by NAS as delegate of U.S. National Committee to the International Union of Microbiological Societies
Scott Baker has been appointed by the National Academy of Sciences to be one of six delegates of the U.S. National Committee to the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) with rights to vote during the IUMS General Assembly. In addition, Scott was elected to serve as the IUMS Mycology Division vice-chair. The vice-chair is responsible for the next International Congress of Mycology in 2011 and serves on the IUMS executive board. (announced 9/1/2008)
