Kathy Pryor Recognized as Fellow by Health Physics Society
Kathy Pryor, a Chief Health Physicist at PNNL, was recognized as a 2008 Fellow by the Health Physics Society (HPS) committee. This prestigious recognition is designed to honor senior members of the Society who have made significant administrative, educational, and/or scientific contributions to the profession of health physics.
Kathy has been a member of HPS since 1980 and served the Society through her participation in numerous committees, as a Director and currently as Secretary. Kathy is a Certified Health Physicist and has also advanced the professionalism of Health Physics through her continuing work with the American Board of Health Physics and the American Academy of Health Physics (announced 5/1/2008)
