Jeff Estes Recognized for Leadership in Science Education Reform
The Washington Council of the American Electronics Associations recognized Jeff Estes and four business leaders for their role in making the Washington State's Leadership and Assistance for Science Education Reform (LASER) program a success. Jeff and his team have provided successful strategies for promoting and encouraging science and math, including the nationally recognized LASER program. LASER encourages school districts to initiate, implement and sustain a standards-based, inquiry-centered science education program in grades K-8. (announced 3/1/2007)
