Tom Tenforde Elected President of National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements
Tom Tenforde was elected president of the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements. He is the fourth president since the Council and its predecessor organizations was formed in 1929. Dr. Tenforde, Senior Chief Scientist., Environmental Technology Directorate, has promoted the production of radioisotopes and isotope products for medical, industrial, and research purposes, and championed work in the environmental and biological sciences.
