Economic Development

- Since 1994, completed about 950 technology assistance projects with approximately 75% of them supporting Washington-based companies, resulting in product or service improvements and increased revenues for these companies
Battelle Community Involvement
- Invested nearly $700,000 in area philanthropic and civic organizations, FY2011
- $500,000 in Delta High School. Delta, located in Richland, Washington, emphasizes education in science, technology, engineering and math
- Invested more than $22 million since 1965 to improve science education and quality of life in Tri-Cities, Washington
- Through Team Battelle, our staff volunteer program, more than 1,500 employees volunteered more than 20,000 hours for 76 local organizations in FY2011
- A total of more than 100,000 hours over volunteered through Team Battelle over the last ten years
